Deloris did a wonderful job shining a light on the disconnect that can be forced by superiors when a teacher doesn't feel the need to follow academic "norms." While "business as usual" works in some settings, when it comes to education (especially in this day and time), you have to get creative, take minimal risks, and stick to your beliefs, all while nurturing faith in your student(s). The seedier side of this short film is a reminder that not everyone who smiles in your face, pats you on the back, or who seems to support you, can be trusted. Hidden agendas are a detriment to good intentions and it's best to keep a healthy distance from any, person, place or thing that can undermine your gift, purpose and role in the lives of others. Unfortunately, education is one of those areas that has continued to deteriorate over the years, with a piece of that being ineffective teaching, a broken and litigation weary school system and the loss of dedicated teaching professionals.

The fight of a teacher of troubled youth is never over. This one kept me on the edge of my seat. A tremendous empathy for the protagonist and fussing at the antagonist the whole time in this first episode. The ending had me wanting more!

I usually don’t feel compelled to leave comments, but this short film was exceptionally well-crafted, and I couldn’t resist sharing my thoughts. Deloris Hervey’s portrayal of the character was outstanding, and I believe it deserves recognition in the future. The Curriculum Director’s Cut is so captivating that it resonates with a wide audience, making it relatable to both children and adults. This short film has the potential to be a contender for awards, although I understand that such films often face challenges in securing wins. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that this short film deserves my vote! That intro is ❄️❄️❄️ froooooooost visions lol! I signed up too, ready for more.
